Tu Bi'shvat is often called the "Birthday of The Trees" in schools in the United States, it is the holiday that falls on the Hebrew date the 15th of Shevat which is the New Year for the trees. Communities celebrate by planting and caring for trees and enjoying the fruits from the trees from Israel: olives, dates, grapes, figs and pomegranates.
