The IDF Widows and Orphans Organization ("IDFWO") is a nonprofit working with women and children that lost spouses or fathers serving in the IDF. Each year, the IDFWO publishes a collection of intensely personal poems, letters, and short stories in their publication called Ga’aguim (געגועים, "Longings"). The works are written by the family members who lost a loved one.
