Other Biblical Writings
SACRED TEXTS
The Hebrew Bible, also known as the Tanakh, is an acronym, consists of Torah, Neviim (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings). While certain texts found in Ketuvim are more well-known than others, the book of Writings offers a variety of different literary works that are narrative, poetic, satire, and even based in history. Many of the texts are attributed to King David and King Solomon, are read on festivals and holidays, and are utilized in Jewish liturgy today.
