You don't have to be a real good singer to make every Shabbat linger,
We know on Friday night that we eat challah, on Saturday we do Havdalah
Chorus:
We do Havdalah, Havdalah, Saturday night we do Havdalah! (2x)
We know at every holiday, we bless the wine
We know it's really kosher grape juice, most of the time
We say the blessing and we raise the cup
And later on we're gonna drink it up
We take a little jat and pass it around, it tastes so sweet and makes a happy sound
A little spice, a little clove, we wish everyone a Shavua Tov. Shavua Tov....
chorus)
We raise a braided candle to the highest height, see how God separates the darkness from the light;
See how Shabbat is something that we're gonna miss, see how we put the candle out like this. "TSssss..."
