A meaningful snacktivity inspired by Parshat Vayeishev from ChallahCrumbs.com:

In this Parsha, Yaakov bestows his son Yosef with the wondrous striped coat. As the story goes, this gift caused an immense amount of jealousy between Yosef’s other brothers — so much so, that at the end of this story, Yaakov’s other sons sell Yosef into slavery. For our Torah Treat this week, we will be making our own coat of many colors. But don’t worry — let’s plan to make enough so that everyone has one, no one gets jealous, and we all live happily ever after.

Ingredients:

There are two ways we made this Torah Treat at home. For both, you will need

1 1/2 graham cracker and a shmear of frosting or marshmallow fluff as the glue.
Option 1: rainbow colored jelly beans
Option 2: rainbow colored belts (we used Airhead Extreme — if you like sour flavored candy, it’s an added bonus!)

Directions:
1. Use one whole graham cracker for the body of the coat
2. Break the other half into two halves for the sleeves
3. Spread frosting (or marshmallow fluff) onto the graham crackers (also you can use it as a “glue” to keep the arms connected to the body)
4. Decorate with your candy of choice.
